The end of Star Trek
This year I saw the end of Star Trek Voyager and The Next Generation.
Although I like Picard, I found the Next Generation hard work. Not many of the characters are likeable and there's a lack of humour.
Voyager was better, but Janeway is difficult to like.
In both series, the final episode featured time travel, which is a bit lame and perhaps over-used?

Kirk
Kirk is very serious on the 1966 show. No nonsense.
Where did his spoof image come from? Lampoons? Impressionists?

Star Trek - Original Series
Re-watching Star Trek and just loving it. The camaraderie between Kirk, Spock and McCoy is evident from the onset.
The Kirk later movies failed to really capture how the 60's show felt, and the more recent Star Trek movies (Abrams re-hash) are just a waste of time.
